Day 1
Arrival and Transfer to Darjeeling
- Arrive at Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / New Jalpaiguri Rail Station (NJP) / Siliguri Junction by Bus or by Train (SGUN).
- Your onward journey to Darjeeling starts from there. It’s a 21/2 hrs drive to reach Darjeeling.
- Check in hotel. After cheek in guests are free for rest of the day for strolling around the mall area and explore the local market for shopping.
- Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
Day 2
Darjeeling local sightseeing
- Wake up early and freshen up yourself after that drive to Tiger Hill to view the sunrise over the Kanchenjunga Mountain.
- Returning from there visit Ghoom Monastery – Batasia Loop and War Memorial.
- Back to hotel for breakfast.
- Post breakfast visit Botanical Garden – Natural History Museum -- Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park (Thursday Close) – Himalayan Mountaineering Institute – Tenzing Rock – Tibetan Refugee Self Help Centre (Sunday Close) – Japanese Peace Pagoda. Back to hotel.
- Evening is fee for leisure.
- Night stay at Darjeeling.
Day 3
Transfer to Kalimpong
- Post breakfast check out from the hotel and proceed to Kalimpong.
- Kalimpong is 50 km. away from Darjeeling and takes 2.5 hrs. to reach the town.
- On the way, halt at Lamahata to visit the Lamahata Park then drive straight to Kalimpong.
- Check in the hotel.
- Guests are free for the rest of the day for strolling around the town, exploring the local market and to taste the local cuisine.
- Spend a peaceful night at kalimpong.
Day 4
Kalimpong local sightseeing
- Breakfast in the early morning. Post breakfast sightseeing starts and covers the following points----
- Durindara -- Jelepla View Point -- Zong Dong Palri Monastery ( Durpin Monastery ) -- Army Golf Course and Morgan House -- Flower Nursery -- Mangal Dham -- Hanuman Park -- Sherpa View Point -- Deolo Park.
- You can do the paragliding at Deolo (on your own cost).
- Evening is free for leisure.
- Overnight stay at Kalimpong.
Day 5
Departure to Siliguri
- Your tour ends today.
- Post breakfast check out from the hotel and drive straight to airport or rail station or bus terminus.
