Day 1
Arrival and Transfer to Darjeeling
- Reach Bagdogra Airport ( IXB ) / NJP Railway station / Siliguri Junction by bus or by rail.
- Transfer to Darjeeling ( 21/2 hrs. drive) . Check in hotel.
- Evening is free for shopping and strolling around the town and mall area.
- Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
Day 2
Darjeeling local sightseeing
- Wake up early, then drive to Tiger Hill to view sunrise over the Kanchenjunga Mountain. Returning from there and visit Ghoom Monastery – Batasia Loop – War Memorial.
- Post breakfast visit Botanical Garden – Natural History Museum -- Padmaza Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park – Himalayan Mountaineering Institute – Tenzing Rock – Tibetan Refugee Self Help Centre – Japanese Peace Pagoda.
- Back to hotel for lunch. Evening is free for leisure.
- Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
Day 3
Transfer to Lataguri / Murti
- Post breakfast check out from hotel and proceed to Lataguri / Murti.
- Lataguri is 130 km. (approx) away from Darjeeling and the journey time is 3 hrs.
- Reach Lataguri / Murti and check in the resort. After refreshment guests are requested to collect their tickets for ‘Forest Safari’ from forest department ticket counter.
- After the thrilling forest safari (depends on the availability of tickets) evening is free for leisure or enjoy the folk dance organised by the resort (optional).
- Night stay at Lataguri / Murti under Garumara National Park.
Day 4
Day trip to Jhalong - Bindu
- Take your breakfast early and post breakfast proceed to Jhalong.
- On the way to Jhalong, dense Chapramari Forest and serpentine hilly road gives you full excitement.
- Reach Jhalong view point beside River Jaldhaka. It is a perfect place for photo shoot. Mountain valley of Bhutan is opposite to the view point. Spend a while there.
- From there move on to Bindukhola, a picturesque village at the bank of River Jaldhaka.
- Visit the River-Dam built for Hydro-Electric Power Station, you can chill out in the icy cool Jaldhaka River.
- After visiting Bindukhola drive straight to resort / hotel.
- Overnight stay Lataguri / Murti.
Day 5
Departure to Siliguri
- Post breakfast check out from resort / hotel and return to Siliguri.
- On the way to Siliguri halt at Gajoldoba to visit the area.
- Spend a while there then drive straight to airport / rail station or bus stand.
